Based on your response, the ALTCS applicant DOES NOT appear income eligible for ALTCS at this time. However, the ALTCS applicant can request an undue hardship in this situation.

 

An Undue Hardship can be requested when the trust meets all other conditions except the customer’s total counted income is higher than the average private pay rate, an exception may be made on a case-by-case basis when the ALTCS applicant claims that the private pay rate is not enough to meet his/her needs.
