Includes ALTCS applicant and community spouse combined income *Year 2026
This limit applies to applicants who are married and the spouse lives in the community, NOT in a nursing home. Do NOT count the following toward the applicant’s GROSS monthly income:
- VA Aid & Attendance
- VA Housebound Assistance
- VA income amounts due to unusual medical expenses
- VA reduced pension
- VA income for clothing allowance and/or caregiver payments.
